Creme de la creme. The Bleu Norde is a very limited edition of a Jamaica Blue Mountain bean and one of the oldest heirlooms in Haiti. It is mellow, nutty and creamy and will have you comparing to the cashew-butter qualities of Kona Extra Fancy. The dry fragrance holds elements of caramel popcorn and almond cookie. The sweetness is focused in the wet aroma, similar to the creamy natural sweetness found in raw cashews, and macadamia nuts. A rich medium roast, the flavors have the refined notes of a Guittard milk chocolate. Hard to come by.
