Bali Kintamani Highlands
Tasting Notes: Fruity, graham cracker finish
Cupping Score: 89
Bean Weight: 16 & 12 oz
The Kintamani Highlands are located on Mount Agung’s giant volcanic plateau, nearly 5,600 feet above sea level. This wet-hulled bean is grown in mineral-rich soil among citrus trees — Erythrina, Albizia, tangerine, and orange — which provide the perfect amount of shade for this coffee to thrive. If you are a fan of sweetness, look no further. We found so much balance from body to high acidity with notes of watermelon and then a lingering finish of graham cracker crust. It is exceptional pour over and AeroPress, and if you are inclined to let it cool to 120F, or venture into cold brew, it is over the top.
